Lost photo's

Well I installed Win7 Pro and thought I had everything backed up. I thought wrong. I did not have all my most recent pic's backed up sadly. so the pic's I had to post are now gone along with some fairly important family pic's. Between the move, remodeling and now losing those pic's I won't have much to post. I do have one that I hope to post this weekend though, I would post it now but I have to run off. Thanks to the watchers of my page for hanging in there with me! I will be back!!

Did you wipe your drive? Windows 7 likes to move any existing windows installs into Windows.old folder, even if you do a clean install.

It would not do a friendly install where it just updated my Win7RC and left my files alone. I tried. No it whipped it clean. So how to I find them again? *note computers and I do not get along as you can see lol*

eew, then there might not be much of a chance left to recover your files. You'll need a app like http://www.recovermyfiles.com/ or something to recover from a reformatted HDD.

I have a chunk saved on CDRW so its not a total loss. I am thinking of recovering them still so I will take a look at the link. Thanks Gabe! Sweet sexy Joggy!
