Some of the new rules are honestly kind of surprising. I can see a good chunk of the community no longer being able to post on this site, unfortunately.

Yeah, while none of the rules affect me (yet), it's not fair to friends who have been here for many years and have had their art removed :< It looks like FA posted an apology and that they are working on fixing things but this isn't the first time. It's just a shame that babyfurs are always being treated this way, on multiple platforms.

I am glad that the staff have apologized for the situation; it seems like Sciggles has gone to extraordinary lengths to try to recapture some of the lost goodwill from the community. As you have said, though, babyfurs have been burned by the site many times, and although it is unfortunate, I cannot blame many for leaving Furaffinity entirely. What is really precarious right now is that technically speaking, the 2.7 update is only on hold. Until they get rid of all of the restrictions on child characters and diapers, the place can hardly be said to be hospitable to the community. I hope that your friends are doing alright. The artists who got struck by this did not deserve to have old pieces of tame art removed and their accounts suspended.
