a year ago
So... a day after the announcement, now with a colder head, let's have a talk.
the year was 2022, and i got banned by a picture posted (back then) 7 years ago, that was under the said rules back then. At first, i felt guilt for it, but what shocked me way more wasn't the ban itself, it was on how it was enforced...
I was scrolling the site, and all it took was a f5 or a click to go to a new page and BAm, that screen with the countdown to get back.
I had no ways to be aware that a previous work was now against the rules.
I had no previous warning nor chances to fix it by myself.
I only had the option to wait or to appeal, but on this way it was made, it felt like going on knees and lick the admin boots asking to be back on their cool treehouse club.
That wasn't something new, i heard of people being banned here and there, but if they got me, that compared to other ones, am a few steps behind in popularity or work quality, what kept them from going always up and get the big names under the same reason?
I decided then to stop my works here, posting some supporter pictures as a way to share my work (am an artist that need comissions to get an income, so can't just quit it at once here). But eventually... more stuff happened.
Right at the beggining of 2023, they made with a rule... with a number that you can see it right now over your pages if you hadn't closed it's banner yet. the 2.7.
While it was made to stop with Cub Porn and other heavy stuffs here, it was... how to say in a nice way? wrote by a cat, having a nightmare and moving over the admin's keyboard.
This rule was so vague that anything could be fit into that, related to diaper or abdl art. and as a result, not too long after this, we got the first ban waves happening.
They were exactly teh same ways it happened with me. No ways to fix i t before it happened, and unless you crawl under the admins feets to lick them for a chance to get back, you're 1 week away the site.
I saw friends getting hit by this, and then decided to stop posting any art here, using it just to keep in contact with friends and artists that still were here.
We told everyone multiple times that this rule was a terrible thing for the community, and that would be easier to hit the big fishes and no one was safe... which lead to some classic comments like
"Nah, they won't care to go against the big ones, they give lots of views"
"yeah, they get FA+, they're safe"
and
"This won't affect me, my art is SFW".
And months after months, more users were banned. Until last august/september, where we got banned massively, including, guess what... big names!
Star was banned in all her accounts, Fang was banned and then suspended permanently, and right now, at october 23th, no appeals from him were even seen, as far as i know.
We had fuel enough to get an exodus from this site since 2022, but people chose to stay, on their own reasons, and i respect it, but only after it got on big names, they saw what i saw waaay back then. No one is safe...
And now we arrive at yesterday, when "after months of chats with members of the (babyfur/abdl) community", they threw everything away and again, the sleeping cat with nightmares took control over the admin's keyboard... cuz if that previous 2.7 rule was already terribly written, they had to put a lot of effort to make it worse, and they did it.
As a result of terrible choices made by the staff, such as
*Don't listen the community
*Make it worse for us and still claim we're welcome
*Accept the mass reports done against us as valid on some terms without any penalty for the ones that weren't.
*come with stupid and no-logic stuff like "Eggs aren't ok if there's a kid inside"
there's a real exodus happening now. with big names and long term users leaving this place.
It's sad that this once was our home, but it makes me happy seeing people aren't buying their excuses anymore.
It brights my day see the community together against a fair cause, at least for once.

You can keep posting here and purge your gallery, or you can make the admins work at least once and give you the trophy after 6 months, so you can put it on your social media banners. even if you try to clear your gallery from what you think it's against the rules, they'll eventually hit something. All it takes is one bad intended admin, and we saw there's more than 1 around, considering everything that happened since 2022.
I really hate sounding that extreme, or as the guy that goes "I tooold youuu". but we reached this point. I've been dealing against tyrants in the past, inside and outside the community... enought of this shit!
