Always a "new policy"

Back in May of 2023 came the announcement of a stipulation of 2.7's crackdown on small statured characters.
The writing was on the wall and I knew this would go south very quickly and I promptly removed all the images in my gallery featuring any such characters.
Now, Dragoneer is gone and the rule of 2.7 was so vague that now pregnancy images and egg laying images are at risk of being offenses to the site.
Next will come the depiction of fertilization being classified as "a minor in an explicit image".
But this all is the astroturf because the inevitable tumblrification of this place.
Don't trust the mods and administrative crew. They could have implemented firm age verification and site secure functions that would mean any minor who DID come in here was at fault, NOT the artists who just want a gallery to showcase art. They could have implemented a blacklist function.
They COULD have. That COULD have spans around 20 years, and they never DID.
Keep that in mind and remember why I stopped uploading here.

Careful what you wish for, GB made it by law to require next year and it's well possible that some sites like FA (or IB who already talked about this) will have to exclude their service from brits.
Reason being: Real age verification is a service, meaning it costs money. Thus either the visitor pays or the site gotta pay - for every single session - and that's not feasible for sites like these.
Plus the viewer has to trust some service which has their RL identity, that they will keep them anonymous.
When "Are you 18+?" questions are not enough anymore, a lot of sites are screwed. There's no easy alternative.
Think many puritans know that and therefore push for this as a porn-ban through the backdoor.
The issue is that there has been a perpetual push that the site is in the wrong for having NSFW materials as opposed to the youth lying and violating site policies by falsifying their age.
The youth gets away and causes the site to be destroyed.
IB is doomed because it's harboring tons of "AI" trash and it's a massive lawsuit waiting to happen.
That AI art is being stomped by lawsuits is now beeing discussed for 3 years. Seems less and less likely that it happens. Current laws do not seem applicable well and there is only very little effort in lawmakers to change that because of the opportunities AI provides.
And it's even less likely that hosters like IB end up in any trouble. The content industry just barely managed to make piracy sites ilegal.
