Around here there are a lot of alternatives. There are church groups, but those are often one day a week events. If there are any mutual aid groups, they wouldn't be a problem and wouldn't ask questions. They tend to be run by anarchists. They could be harder to locate, though. Perhaps do a search for mutual aid groups in your area?

If your location is correct in your profile...the workplace is in violation. Federal (and state) law requires regular paydays, and there is a penalty for not processing payroll on time.

Technically they processed it on time, they just sent it to the wrong place and the only person that can fix the issue went on vacation ._.

Not a new employer, i was trying to move my direct deposit from one account to another
