So, uh... why not Weasyl?

I'm seeing lots of people leave FA in response to the whole policy situation, which is a perfectly valid response, but I'm not seeing a lot of those people set up shop on a different art site. Instead, it's usually a social media site that isn't designed for art. I get the reluctance to use DeviantArt because of AI, and Inkbunny is, well... Inkbunny. I suppose there are a plethora of other art sites, but not many of them are tailored for furry art. I wager it would be a huge struggle to build any sort of audience on a non-furry art site if your body of work consists mostly of ABDL furry art.
That leaves Weasyl, the only other active furry art site I can think of. It's a more modern website than FA, and, more importantly, it's much more friendly towards babyfurs from what I've seen. The only reason I've seen others give for not using Weasyl is because there isn't enough traction there, yet I still see a decent number of people post art there. It's possible to build an audience on Weasyl, but we're so used to the overwhelming numbers and sense of community FA gives us that other art sites are going to seem like ghost towns in comparison, even the relatively active ones. It's almost like the whole Twitter and Bluesky situation, only Twitter has messed up so badly that others are now willing to give Bluesky a chance.
Anyway, here's my Weasyl account if anyone there wants to follow it: https://www.weasyl.com/~toothpickbirdy
Given that a large amount of people watch me on FA, not to mention my diaper art here doesn't (or at least shouldn't) violate the recent policy revisions, I'm not in a hurry to leave FA. I should be safe, but I don't exactly have the guarantee that I will remain safe, so I've chosen to set up shop on Weasyl just in case. :>

I still personally prefer Inkbunny for it's features though, namely the ability to group multiple images into a single submission, and I like the tagging system there.

The problem is it's hard to get people to move over when the site, despite how problematic it can be is where their audience is and where they receive the most traction. FA is the YouTube of the furry community, if that makes sense.
I see journals of people saying they're dropping the site because of no traction. I left the site for that reason and I didn't know anyone there besides artists I knew here.
