I always post everywhere that I'm opening commissions, heh. There's always been a journal on SF and something here on FA, a link and notice on twitter (and now bluesky), as well as a ping in the server for it.

All I'm doing at the moment is making sure that everyone knows where else they can find me and my stuff.

I see some people move from Patreon to Subscribestar recently. Is there a major patreon change that I'm completely oblivious about, or do SS give a better payment model for creators?

Patreon's had a few issues over the last few years. Some of those things include the rather infamous crackdown on hypno-kink and anything that isn't explicitly consented to by all parties (even in fictional form), but lately, they're also trying to push people into different billing models (basically that people get charged on the day they sign up every month rather than on the first, which can make budgeting a major pain), demanding greater proof of ID and official documents from people in order to make adult content (through mostly secure but somewhat concerning third parties), and a few other things like that. I just feel like I should make the move now rather than wait for things to collapse completely.

Yup I'm completely oblivious to stuff like that. Had no idea patreon had a thing against hypno or unwilling, oop. I only knew that kofi didn't allow feet content at all, and onlyfans rejected my application, lol.

Yeah, patreon got big on porn, and then started cracking down on it to be publicly 'acceptable'.
