I messed up one of my knees last December and it has yet to heal up. My mobility has been limping around ever since and doctors are like "Well.. if it was a bone, you wouldn't be walking on it. If it's tendons or anything, wont show up on xrays." u_u Can't afford the surgery either so just.. gotta cope <:(

Actual B-day party was nothing; went to work and did an almost-9 hour shift. Halloween was pretty good, went with the kids trick or treating, started to rain a tiny bit and things were wrapping up soon after :(

Sounds like you need to pick a day to force the family and friends to get together. That's the real power of birthday parties. Making people do what they won't normally do in celebration of YOU! haha. I do that, literally to get my family together, I really don't care about celebrating my birthday very much.

Lol, nah. Thanks, but I wanted to get caught up on work, I don't put much behind my B-days anymore anyways, and I don't like being the center of attention; hence why I pick a holiday to celebrate it: Everyone is focused more on the holiday and having a good time. I just get to enjoy that everyone's having a fun and spooky time ^_^

Got a few months yet, and nah, not really - as you'll come to realize in your 40s, you value peace and quiet over big plans most of the time. :P Every new decade is full of new adventures, so... we'll see. I hope you find the same with your new decade.

Duuuuuude, I was talking to my manager and my knee rubbed up against the door frame, and I heard this God awful grinding noise but it was pretty quiet. So I gave the 'hush' sign, put my knee to the frame again but harder, and made it GRIND so loud she almost threw up XD

Not entirely sure, but I'm certainly FEELING it. Knocked my knee out in December of 2023 and it's -still- giving me problems. Shoulda been a 2 month recovery but not anymore D:
