Damn, sorry you're going through that. That sucks. Best of luck with treatment! There have been some amazing developments in oncology over the last thirty years.
Nothing to speak of. Right before Christmas I got a hormone shot in my backside and on the 28th of this month I'll be having an MRI. In March somewhere I'll be starting some kind of radiation treatment. As we speak right now, everything is status quo. And unexpectedly I received a bill for said shot plus a meet with the oncologist totaling somewhere over $800 that I don't have. And I have to add that to raising money to pay my back taxes so we don't lose our house.
I am, though, at the suggestion of another fur/friend, opening a GoFundMe in hopes to raise money to help pay for these treatments.
You're in our thoughts. You might also want to look into this information about hospital bill forgiveness. If your hospital is a nonprofit (most are), they must have a charity care policy. Based on a sliding scale of your income, the hospital is required to forgive some or all of your bills.
Here's hoping you're able to get this treated and come out of it alright!
Couldn't you get, like, don't know, just a common cold?
Get well again, there's many ladyfurs in need of firm bindings still!
Thanks! They seem to think it's early days, right now it's the waiting to find out what's next that's killing me
Saw this post a few days ago, but had no idea what to say.
So I'm keeping it simple.
Thinking of you, and hoping for the best.

The 'C word' is never good news.
However, it isn't automatically a death sentence (Or, doesn't HAVE to be).
Will continue hoping that your Dx and treatment/recovery will see you hale and enjoying life ASAP!
Thank you, fingers are crossed -- in an attitude of prayer!

Now, if only the specialists did that
