Story of my life. Ugh.

Honest to god, in the last 5 years, people have been getting closer to how tight-assed they were during my childhood, in the 80s/early 90s. Y'know, the god damn "moral majority" era. And that was from people OLDER than me. Now, it's coming mostly from people YOUNGER than me. Is this cyclical?

I know the feeling.

Relatable, painful vibes.

For me its mostly teenagers and young adults spending too much time in online spaces and conflating fiction with reality (like that quote that says people on social media treat fictional characters like they're real and real people like they're fictional). Hopefully some years living as an independent adult with a job will shift their priorities.
