There are some artists here who use Boosty as their payment service.
I set up an account and tried adding a credit card to my profile, but the bank refused to verify the card because Boosty was listed as a scam site. Something about violating consumer protection laws.
I also tried using a gift card, but Boosty refused that right off.
Do any of my watchers use a Boosty account and if so, did you have any problems with adding a card to your profile?

Boosty is largely a Russian payment site, and any transactions between the US and Russia are nearly impossible atm for obvious reason. The net closed slowly in Boosty's case, but at this point it's nearly impossible to process payment to them if you're from the US. Now, they may have a non-russian section as well, so if both you and the artist are in the US and using Boosty, something else may be going on. But for the most part, Boosty is dead for the forseeable future due to sanctions, which is unfortunate.
