Let's see the positive side of things. Donald Trump is a dick, but he ain't gonna go after lgbtq more than necessary to appease his voters and the folks who are saying otherwise are alarmists.
Back in 2016, the worst thing he did was to refuse entry into the military for a transperson and makig access to medicine harder, but if you look at other countries like africa, south america and the east side of the globe, they get it worse. In russia you can be incarcerated for beig gay on the grounds that you are, ACCORDING TO PUTIN, a predator, In most islamic countries they kill gay and transpeople for sports because to them being gay is wrong and satanic or something.
Both of these elements exist in the US in commonfolks long before 2016, long before Trump. Reactionnary right wings think lgbtq people are groomers and christian fundamentalists thing being lgbtq is satanic. Him being or not president has no impact since assholes all across this country will discriminate against lgbtq regardless and Kamala Harris wouldn't have improved the situation at all. Maybe in 30 years things will finally move forward for the lgbtq.
If anything you're more at risk if you are an immigrant. Trump's entire propaganda resolves around demonizing immigrants and foreigners.
Let's hope Trump won't launch the entire world into world war 3, because that's the real thing I'm worried about. Joe Biden was doing a fair job defending ukraine without going overboard. Imagine if Trump sides with russia and together attack europe, it would be the worst thing ever.
