it's not a great feeling seeing someone who sucks share your interests

i've definitely muted and/or blocked people elsewhere for sharing my interests while also being absolute chuds. The block is more for people who are straight up transphobic but if your opinions suck slightly less than that, i'm not gonna give you the time of day and just let you post into the void at best

i've had to cut ties with several people who voted for the orange. why would you vote for someone who wants to take your rights away?

I'm not a US citizen, but even I am furious that they let this all happen again. Just to "own us snowflakes" or whatever. Fuck 'em. They'll soon reap what they have sown seeing as Project 2025 is absolutely on the table.

100% agree! I still don't understand how he won, considering the issues on the table. How can several states immortalize abortion rights into their State Constitutions, yet he still manages to win when everyone knows he's anti-abortion? It honestly seems fishy...

Remember they'll gaslight about how 2020 was rigged but pay no attention when ballot boxes burned, bomb threats sent, and how people who voted by mail in for 18+ years suddenly have their vote challenged

Far too many people in this country will just willingly sacrifice their rights and morals if it means cheaper gas and groceries. Completely unaware of how it got there in the first place.

I'm still mad at the idiots justifying or minimizing the impact of his win 8 years ago.

It fucking sucks this happened again and there's no doubt people did this intentionally. But like, the people who voted for him don't know how much he's going to ruin their lives whether it's from taking rights away or tariffs or gutting FEMA or killing the EPA; it's gonna go bad.

And to anyone who doesn't believe it'll be bad, this was the same playbook that made Reagan so fucking awful. He was also mentally-gone and followed a guidebook from a right-wing think tank.

The thing is that there are two camps:
1. They know it, but they don't care, as they're full-blown nihilists who use Trump's victory as a form of vindictive vengeance for being screwed over and disowned. They don't care about the outcome except to cause pain and misery to their enemies

2. They think they're going to be an exception to the cause. You'll see them behave like "one of the good ones" as they'll talk about God and Jesus in order to come off as the "Good furries". You'll either see them find their usefulness ended or become "anti-furs" to avoid being put on a list
