I'm stumped, and need OC ideas.

Hello everyone! Recently, I've been trying to decide what species my personal OC should be. I know the name Kitten2Kitten might imply I'd be a cat, but I've also seriously considered being an owl or a dragon.
I've also considered doing some kind of ritual where I let nature or luck decide the outcome, a concept similar to how one is brought into the world without the means of choosing who they are. But I'm not sure how a ritual might decide it.
I understand making an OC to represent one's self is a personal process, but I've been trying to settle on this for years now. Please let me know any suggestions you have, or anything I should try.
Once I've decided, I plan to post artwork of another one of my OCs (or maybe an entirely new one) giving birth to me as a sort of celebration.
