Do you read journals here?

I get when you follow an artist that you might read their journals.
But do people actively read journals from people they don't follow?
But do people actively read journals from people they don't follow?
like maybe if you came across someone's page and are checking out what they're about but otherwise... why?
So that was the confusion I think.
But it makes sense that journals are more for people who already follow you.
