You may want to try one of the following

Go to device manager > network adapters > right click on the Wi-Fi adapter and remove/uninstall. Just make sure the delete drivers box is not checked. After that, use the button that says "Scan for hardware changes". This can sometimes restore your wifi driver.

Alternatively go to Settings and search for reset network. It resets all network settings to default and reboots. That should cause your wifi card to start working

Thanks for the advice, but I think I'll try updating it through my Windows system updates first.
