I remember doing it, but I did a mock-up of my ID beforehand. Scanned, changed the critical data in it and printed it out for the verification, so even if they'll get a data breach again, all that'll leak is fake information~

No private company has the right to ask for all of your very personal information and if they do threat you with termination of services, just give them fakes.
... I've been using my fake personal information on so many pages (mostly just name, DOB and e-mail) that I fear of having an identity crisis in the future xD
