You know what’s annoying about Twitter and Bluesky…

Is that they’re not websites dedicated to posting art yet so many artists exclusively post there. Now that would be fine if all they posted was their art, but most of the time they also post drama, unfunny memes, reposting politics, video games, and just all this stuff unrelated to their art. This clutters their feed and makes it harder to get to the actual art (especially since Bluesky doesn't come with a proper gallery view like FA)
What gets me most is when people repost or reply to bigoted posts such as racism, homophobia, etc just to make fun of or criticise them. But all that’s doing is driving up the engagement for that post and making that person’s thoughts spread throughout the internet. If you see someone/something bigoted on the internet, just block em, don’t pay em attention and ignore them. That’s the best you can do.
When my feed is full of that stuff plus drama surrounding US politics or provoking stuff that’s outside of my control, it really impacts my mood and mental health. Which is why I only follow people on Twitter/Bluesky who only post their art and nothing else.
Honestly I kinda miss when FA was the main website for posting furry porn. It is an actual art website after all, plus it has banned AI art! What a bargain, everyone should just come back here instead of moving to Bluesky

As for art, I think that FA actually still IS the main site for posting art. Even though my art isn't the best, I still actually get engagement from people on here versus what I remember from the other sites.
At least a lot of the X artists post their stuff to e621 lol. I think a lot of people do just like to have one place to post their art AND look at memes and post unfunny reaction gifs and stuff, and they don't think as much about their old art being accessible unlike their fans do. When I was briefly on BlueSky I saw that there's a feeds tab where an artist can organize their posts but i wouldn't be surprised if most artists don't care. Art gallery sites are still king.
