Just got curious about this and wanted to ask ye following me on FA: what, if anything, do you recognise as a trait of my art style? Colouring, lineart, sketching, shapes, anatomy, themes (beyond just like. what kinks i draw i guess bc duh) — anything that you see that would make you go “oh, that’s Dan’s style”, if anything?
I’m also curious to see if the answer differs between here and Tumblr once i post the question there 🤔

Hm, well, it's not something entirely exclusive to you, but you tend to draw in a more realistic style than most artists on FA.

bit muted, often natural color palettes, blocky lighting. great sense of how cloth folds. dark lines that leans more on the harsh side, but feel purposeful and clean.

I find your line weight is really noticeable, it is visible in every part of a piece (hair, body shapes, clothes folds, etc) but especially in your goop stuff. You have a really good control over your lines and implied motion and texture are always really prominent as a result.
Rather blocky facial features on humans, big characteristic hairstyles! Love it :D

I think it the way you draw your characters that I recognise at a glance there very noticeable then it’s the. Way you colour them as well that makes me go oh it mr green one
