December's Seeking to Draw List + Update & Christmas

How the hell is it already almost Christmas again?!
Time needs to seriously chill for a bit.
This time of year is really really hard for me due to alot of traumas and deaths that have occurred this month especially.
The 18th will mark 5 years since a piece of my heart and soul left this mortal realm with my beloved Nana. 5 years later I'm still stuck deep in a thick tar pit of grief and it still feels fresh. Life has been especially hard since then.
The 23rd is the absolute hardest day of the year for me. Not only is that the day she was laid to rest and entombed in the family mausoleum....on that date half a lifetime ago I was deeply traumatized in one of the worst ways possible by someone I thought was my friend in my own home.
I literally become the Grinch during those times but on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day I am the most stoked for festivities ever.
While the dark times haunt me mercilessly I am working so very hard to make sure the magic stays in the season for my kids. I want to give them everything I never had at their ages.
I want them to have the best lives possible.
I miss them so much...hopefully some day we'll all live together again.
(They live with my parents and youngest sister.)
Things have been stressful as we work to stay housed at the hotel, maintain bills, and desperately try to save up to find somewhere else to live.
Housing prices ARE starting to come down some little by little but it's still SO MUCH to be able to fully move into a place.
Applications, Admin Fees, Deposit, 1st mo rent....and that's not even including setting up utilities, which often times you cannot even move into the place til those are on and running.
It's thousands of dollars just to secure a place to move into....and it's so hard to save when we have to pay rent WEEKLY. It's currently about 450$ a WEEK here at the hotel and prices do fluctuate depending on the time of year. Since we live in a beach town and both my partner and brother work at a restaurant literally at the beach....it's off season so their hours have been cut a bit and there's very little chances for overtime or bonuses. No other places in town are hiring at anywhere near what they're being paid so working other places isn't really in the best interest either.
I'm legally medically disabled and get SSI so I can't get formal employment; however, I'm fully allowed to continue selling my artwork.
Still fighting to not drown in life but I need some kinda break soon.
I so badly wish for a safe place to call home where I can raise my kids and create everything I've ever wanted to without fear of being happy.
One can dream, right?
I'm open for any and all comms to help fund Christmas and knock out some important bills.
