Now imagine if it were Trump offering blanket pardons and how the media would report it? The idea of a "blanket pardon" pretty much confirms there was wrong doing and they are pulling a CYA move so they can't leap frog between convictions. But remember, the pardons only cover federal charges, doesn't mean the states can't bring charges after. Basically think of it like the OJ Simpson trial where he was found not guilty of murder but in a different court/trial was found guilty of wrongful death and forced to pay the families of the victims the first court said he did not murder. The states could still rake all of them over the coals for Covid and the response and many other issues despite the Feds being unable to charge them and since its on a state level and not federal prosecution, they'll have to pay for their defense out of their own pockets instead of having our tax money protect them like when its a federal case.

I don't care whether that guy is telling the truth or not, his methods are so laughably bad, not to mention the whole "vaccines bad", with pulling bogus numbers of vaccines, much bigger than any info I found on the CDC's website.

Sure, the COVID vaccine was rushed out because of the pandemic, and resulted in some side effects. But let's not forget that the alternative would have been far worse than the 7 MILLION DEAD WORLDWIDE in 4 years, (also decreased by the general health regulations put into place all over the world). That's almost as many as World War 1 casualties.

Okay so he was trying to convey the right information, but did so in such a rabbit-holed way that it didn't feel genuine and/or honest.

Looks like France (where I'm from) and the US had similar persons from a medical perspective come forth pretending to know things about the 'rona, difference being the dude in France was fairly quickly called out unanimously for being wrong and better measures were put into place fairly quickly.

The internet is the wild west, every thing is fast and crazy as every one wants to be the first to cover stories/topics (except for those youtube posters who post videos of them reacting or commenting on the videos others post, then some one posts a reaction video to that so you get some one commenting on a comment video of a comment video of a reaction video to a news report of a press conference about some thing that happened over seas we're hearing about second hand). I 'typically' try to look into things I see articles on before talking about it so I know what I'm talking about but even then the reports from "credible sources" seem to conflict like the recent school shooting as the age of the shooter has been reported as 15 and 17 back and forth by different outlets.

Secondly, you cannot claim inaction ‘would have been far worse”, as you are only making an assumption.

It's a very safe assumption to make.
And a "side effect" is by definition an unwanted/unexpected result of using a medication.

No point in holding grudges at this point m8, sorry to say. Things are hard enough, we don't need more trouble or someone finding an excuse to burn this furry hub to the ground over something like this (someone could take advantage of stuff like this).
