I’m personally fine with them being posted here, but I see other artists make a separate page for those sorts of things. So whatever works better for you!

A second account would be better. Gore is on a different category of stuff and isn't a lot of people cup of tea.

Although, don't you have the option of doing another Image for your Thumbnail on here, or does that option not work correctly?

Technically, you are supposed to be able to have thumbnails, but they do not seem to work right, or all the time. Which, you know. Kind of sucks.

Like said, if the Thumbnail issue doesn't work, a Secondary Account is probably your best bet, Eh?

I would suggest posting a clean version here and then leave the gore on another site or an alt account. I hold nothing against you or anyone else who likes gore, but I’d prefer not to see it mixed in with regular content.

Yeah, that is the main issue I think I have with this... a different account may a good idea. sucks I'll have to log in and out, but ah well.

Can always do incognito so your main stays logged in the primary browser

I'm perfectly fine with more violent content like that being posted on your account! I can understand why you might be hesitant to post content like that without providing blatant warnings though.

From reading through the comments, that's unfortunate to hear custom thumbnails aren't working for you, when that's an option clearly presented in the upload screen for drawings!

I guess you could post the more extreme content in scraps, and hope your watchers aren't too squeamish about seeing that kind of content appear in their submission notifications.

Alternately, you could post heavily censored, or zoomed-in, versions of these more extreme drawings, and link to other sites in the description of the submission. The best solution would probably be a file-sharing site, like MEGA, Dropbox, or Google Drive, as only people with the link would be able to access the drawings you were sharing. If you wanted to go with a social media or art gallery site, I think on Bluesky you can put 'graphic content' warnings!

On DeviantArt, one used to be able to put specific warnings on submissions, but now all you can put is a 'mature' warning, as far as I'm aware, which isn't really helpful for this specific situation.

It sure would be nice if thumbnails worked so you could at least warn people about more extreme content inside! As it stands, though, perhaps an alt account would be best. Ya don't wanna scare away people who don't wanna see that shtuff popping up in their submissions page.

I like the way does their extreme content uploads. They use the image as a mock thumbnail and then have a link to the image in the description.
