Appendicitis - Surgery

Hiiii 🫠 long story short I had a trip to the ER right after work on 12/11 for what I believed was ovarian pain, and since I have a medical condition concerning them I didn't want to take any chances (as I typically would, even THOUGH I work in the medical field lmao) They ran a CAT scan, saw I had the very start of appendicitis and I had my appendix removed the very next morning. It was a very exciting (and painful) past 48 hours!
So now I am possibly going to be off work for 2 weeks on FMLA - unpaid. I must be on pain meds and I am unable to drive at this time, along with me working medical, with children, I also have lifting restrictions so no chasing toddlers for me for a while TT^TT
I still have characters for sale, and as I can I would love to maybe try to open commissions as I take it easy and recover! And/or offer YCHs preferably as I can sit comfortably!
This year is absolutely wild. I know money is tight this time of year for everyone but if you’re willing to have a look I appreciate it 🖤

UPDATE 12/13/24, I just got news from work that my leave will be covered and I will recieve 60% of my wages thank god, but to make up for the other 40% I am still interested in selling whoever I can, thank you all again for your support ;;

I remembered having mine cut out of me some... Geesus 13 years ago and didn't get prescribed a pain med for it

Tbh I hated wearing those patches for weeks til the openings healed. Man those were annoying as all heck...
I do hope the recovery goes smoothly, I remembered the first day feeling like a zombie after the hospital. But then after that I was bouncing around like nothing happened. Might be the difference between 21 me and 30+ me I think.
I need to chill out for a few days and take it slow.
Luckily they patched me up with this glue they told me will just fall off and I’m allowed to shower 24 hours after surgery, just gonna be careful
Hope you have a full recovery as quickly as possible. Just don’t push yourself too much, especially with pain meds.
And I work in the medical field and have health insurance ;;

Same to you. I’m sure I’ll be fine in feeling better soon. I’m already feeling a lot better already, just occasional pains that an Advil helps a ton with.
