On the fifteenth, Bill Ayers was interviewed by the wonderful Cat Brooks at LaPena Cultural Center in Berkeley. I was there. Here's about an hour long version of the interview, which ended up being something over an hour and a half including a question and answer period:

This was part of a tour promoting his most recent book, When Freedom is the Question, Abolition is the Answer:

Ayers is a dedicated revolutionary who got his start, as many did, (This would include myself, in a more modest way) during the US war on Vietnam. He was in the SDS and was a founding member of the Weather Underground, and had to take it on the lam for a while because of his involvement with that. He ended up becoming a respected professor and author. He's now retired, but you'd hardly know it, because he still teaches at three places, including a prison. He just turned 80, but you wouldn't know that to see or listen to him:

The talk ended up being quite wide ranging, and he's got a great sense of humor, so it was a lot of fun. I picked up a copy of the book, and got to chat with him briefly.
