A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood. Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS. He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before. May Rob and Michele rest in peace!

In California, Rob Reiner’s son Nick has been arrested on suspicion of murder in the stabbing deaths of his parents at their home in Los Angeles. On Monday, President Trump provoked widespread outrage after he blamed the killings on Reiner’s anti-Trump views. On social media, Trump wrote, “Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME.”
Those comments drew backlash even from some members of Trump’s own party. Kentucky Republican Congressmember Thomas Massie wrote, “Regardless of how you felt about Rob Reiner, this is inappropriate and disrespectful discourse about a man who was just brutally murdered. I guess my elected GOP colleagues, the VP, and White House staff will just ignore it because they’re afraid? I challenge anyone to defend it.” At the White House, President Trump later doubled down on his attacks on Rob Reiner.
Kristen Holmes: “Mr. President, a number of Republicans have denounced your statement on Truth Social after the murder of Rob Reiner. Do you stand by that post?”
President Donald Trump: “Well, I wasn’t a fan of his at all. He was a deranged person, as far as Trump is concerned. … I was not a fan of Rob Reiner at all, in any way, shape or form. I thought he was very bad for our country.”
I hardly need to comment on this, but of course I will anyway.
First of all, what a prime example of Trump's toxic, psychoppathic narcissism. How can he take the death of this remarkably talented man who fought relentlessly for justice for everyone and turn it into a story about himself? Appalling.
He described Reiner as "Tortured and struggling". -Hardly. Only in Trump's clearly deranged imagination.
Trump said Reiner had "Passed away", using a passive voice. -He was murdered, Donnie.
He said that this was "Reportedly due to his the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS." -Just who reported this, hmm, Donnie? And the onlly real TDS is that exhibited by Trump's cult.
Trump went on to say "He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before." -Who did he "Drive CRAZY" Donnie? Did he really have a "Raging obsession with President Donald J, Trump"? -Methinks Reiner had far better things to think about.
And just what the fuck is Donnie babbling about when he says that "Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before." I call complete BS on that.
At the end he makes a hollow gesture meant to absolve himself by saying "May Rob and Michele rest in peace". and then he doubles down on his hateful rhetoric when questioned about this by the press, proving that he doesn't wish peace on Rob Reiner. Jeezus fucking Christ.
BTW, I watched Spinal Tap II: The End Continues in Rob's honor yesterday.

How can people see this and think this guy has any care for his nation at all.
I do find it insane how, as soon as this happened, multiple right-wingers had to get up on their perch and say "watch this! No body on the right will be nasty about his death like the left would to a right-winger dying!" And the most toxic post of all came from their supreme leader.
RIP Rob. I hope you and your wife are in a much better place.
