I said I can still be friends with Trump supporters in 20...

I take it all back now.
Donald Trump gave us a whole term to show us he was a terrible president. He gave us every reason in the world not to vote for him, and the reasons people did vote for him (thinking he will fix the inflation crisis, thinking he will fix crime), they had no basis for believing that he would.
He has given every reason in the world to show that he intended to be a dictator, if he could help it. You decided that that was a risk worth taking, because you thought he would fix the cost of groceries.
He has shown that he would be hostile to labor organizing. You decided that was a risk worth taking, because you thought he would fix the cost of groceries.
He has shown that he would be willing to cut Medicare and social security. You decided that was a risk worth taking, becuase you thought he would fix the cost of groceries.
So what did he campaign on, with regards to groceries? Did he even have any policy proposals for how to fix that? Did he even have any concepts of a plan? No. He just blamed Biden. And everyone thought that the cost of gas and groceries was just a matter of Biden refusing the press the oval office button that dictates the cost of groceries.
I was a former libertarian up until 2014. I guess you can say I was politically homeless for a bit. I did think Bernie Sanders idea of social democracy was kinda bitchin and I guess I reluctantly accepted that social democracy has a proven track record of working, and I guess in the back of my mind it was hard for me to ignore that libertarianism was kind of stupid. But I was still suffering from the same kind of brainrot that stopped me from being a leftist. I was really into this Anti-SJW bullshit, which caused me to be bllinded to the reality that Hillary would have been a marginally better choice than Trump. I didn't support either candidate at the time, but in retrospect, I should have taken the rhreat of Trump more seriously.
