Depends, are you looking for human MtM, or furry MtM ? ^^

These days I'm a lot more interested in getting human MtM stuff since finding artists for that sort of thing is rare. Furry MtM is fine too, of course!

Well, we're a "small" group of human MtM artists here on FA, but as other people said in the comments below it's rare to have artists come to commissioners since the talented artists usually have their hands full of commissions. I'd recommend browsing through works you enjoy and try to contact artists who made them to see if they are willing to take commissions ^^

That's what I try to do, but I'd really like to find a proper place for MtM specific content and artists willing to do commissions. Usually I just find a human artist on Twitter and ask if they'd be able to draw transformation but that has very mixed results, plus the fact that my messages are often ignored. Most of the artists here on FA that I'm aware of are unfortunately out of my price range.

To be entirely honest, I'm not sure there really is a place to go where you set your ideas out, then artists can approach you about taking the project on as a commission. It's the other way around 99.9% of the time.

And to my knowledge, when people do try things like this on websites like FA or DeviantArt, they almost never get any responses from artists regardless.

The only place that kinda does that is Reddit, but I got tons of DMs from people who either seemed like bots or didn't even draw the stuff I was looking for.

Yeah, it doesn't tend to amount to much when I've seen people do it.

If you're willing to go the usual route - a commissioner seeking an artist - and are specifically seeking human MtM, one place I would recommend is Instagram. For whatever reason, I've seen plenty of more "traditional/classical" human-focused artists there without accounts anywhere else. Scour for one who draws homoerotic content and is open for comms, then just ask if they'd be willing to draw the usual AP/MG stuff you get (super based preferences by the way ;3). I'm sure you'll find a match eventually.

For a second option, there's a guy who goes by rtrose5 on Twitter, and he comms lots of juicy boy -> man AP/MG/WG/TF content of the human variety. He's gotten some pretty neat going-on-photorealistic TF sequences from these same kinds of more obscure "classical" artists who specialize in homoerotic content I mentioned. Take a look through and see if any of the artists he's commed are open, and you should be golden

I browsed Instagram last night but didn't have much success since searching for "muscle growth" just leads to fitness pages as it often does. I did find a bara artist or two but I doubt they've drawn transformation before. Do you happen to have any recommendations? I'm sure if I found an artist more would start popping up in my recommendations.

I actually do follow him on Twitter and like a few of the things he's gotten, though a lot of it is usually pretty stylized and I try to avoid the photorealistic stuff. I might look through his stuff and see about finding an artist though I'm not sure if most of them will still be active.

Honestly, I'd say just take a leap of faith and ask the bara artists you found if they'd be willing to draw TF. More than once I've just asked an artist who I hadn't seen draw any before if they'd do it and they just said yes.

If photorealistic stuff isn't your jam, rtrose has definitely also gotten more cartoony pieces, so that shouldn't be too big of a problem. Take a look through and see if anything interests you; if you have trouble contacting an artist I could try to help too.

Edit: Oop, didn't notice you implied you don't like super stylized cartoony stuff either. At least, I think I read that right? Is there a gold-standard for style you're looking for, if the extremes on either end aren't your thing?

My problem with that is I'm taking a big risk by spending real money on a drawing that might not turn out how I want it to. It's fine I'm I'm doing an art trade (almost everything I've posted was) because I don't lose anything if the end result isn't quite what I'd hoped for. Sadly, most people don't want to do art trades.
