Well, 2024 was certainly a year, huh?
All things considered, it was actually a relatively decent year for me personally! There were some periods of downtime or busy-ness, and my classes have been ramping up now that I'm well-into the upper level requirements - but I still got a lot done. I actually wrote and posted more stories this year than I did last year, which I'm very pleased by - and it would have been even more, had I not gotten sick last month.
Or, well, sick with a string attached. I haven't had any big symptoms, just a week with a swollen throat and then just mouth oddities. Not sick enough to sleep it off, but still sick enough for it to bug me mentally. It sucks! :U
I'm still kinda annoyed that my holidays got thrown so outta whack (I had some stuff I really wanted to work on and finish/post!), but considering how much I got done the rest of the year, I can't really complain. On the other hand, that frustration has also helped motivate me to set up doctors' appointments and whatnot... soooo hey, I'm being proactive in taking care of my health!
As for 2025, I want to keep writing and doodling and comm-ing and whatnot, but I do have one particular goal this year. One bad habit I got into this year was starting various lewdfics or doodles, and then getting distracted or torn away from them for one reason or another - which has left me with a lot of half-finished WIPs sitting in my folders. Most of them I did end up finishing and posting (such as The Lusty Librarians Laid), but there's still a few things left for me to tackle, so I want to get those done and shared with everyone.
Either way, here's to a new year, as always!
