hey folks, it's been a minute!
i forgot to make a journal last year, but i felt bad and wanted to resume the yearly wrap-up tradition properly.
we'll just pretend nothing happened in 2023

2024's been an odd year overall. it felt like a year of "restarts" for me, for better and for worse. that said, i'm honestly alright with the place i'm at now, even if there's of course things i still want to try and accomplish. if you happen to follow me on bluesky, you'll already know my new years resolutions.
2025 will also actually mark the 10 year anniversary of my first online art account! it's weird to think back to when i was secretly drawing funny animals on the bus home from school on my phone. how time flies
