Hey, everyone!
Ah, it's a new year, full of new opportunities for discovery and growth, and I'm certainly one to capitalize on that with some plans for my output in the future. Resolutions, if you will.
START INVESTING MORE INTO ART
As you could tell from my Artfight posts last July, I started to dip my toes into drawn works. I had some fun trying my hand at a different style, but I think it's high time for me to continue doing that and pursue some more ambitious work. Ideally I'd want to draw a project similar in caliber to the stuff I was making then on a weekly basis. My method of producing art isn't exactly the quickest, but I hope that the results will show some improvement as I go along, at least!
CATCHING UP WITH MY WRITING
This has been something I've been struggling with for years, and I want this one to be when I finally nail down a consistent routine with my writing. I've been terribly inconsistent, and I think it's put me in and out of practice time and time again. I hope to at least put out 1000 words of writing towards various projects a day, whether it be smaller blurbs or more substantial stories. Adding on to this, if anyone reading this happens to be someone I owe an Octransfur story to (or just a regular commission), rest assured that I'll get to your story sometime this month. Past this month, I'm definitely cooking up some ideas that'll definitely get some heads turning.
COMMISSION OPPORTUNITIES
Also for the coming months, I'll be opening commissions more regularly (as well as more traditionally). My rates will be the same as they'll usually be, but I want some space to do some other non-traditional commission work. Specifically next month, fans of Pokemon should keep their eyes peeled for what I'll announce!
ORIGINAL NON-TF WORK (gasp)
While I'm not leaving TF entirely for the moment, this will be the year I finally fully commit to making non-TF writing. I've already done art, but I'm certainly game to broaden my horizons creatively by pursuing some more original concepts, characters, and stories. It'll definitely be weird, but I definitely want it to be great.
In summary, I got a lot in mind for this account moving forward that should excite everyone. It's the least I could do for all the wonderful people I've met and the equally wonderful people that have followed this account. While a number like 200 on here might seem small, I'm shocked I got this far online in general and I'm grateful for every opportunity I've had these last five years.
Oh, yeah. Five years really flies by quickly. You also know I've got plans to commemorate such a wide span of time passing. Until then, see you on the flipside and peace out!
