I always forget this platform has a journal function---
First of all, Happy New Year everyone!
Second, I realised I tend to only do life updates on Twitter or BlueSky, so I think I should update you all here aswell, especially since it's also a way to keep commissioners from here up to date, on why there may be delays on commissions being completed.
This will be a bit of a downer but 2024 has been an awful year.
There've been a few small blessings which I am truly thankful for, but unfortunately, most of it has been filled with stress, lost, and a lot of grief. This all accumulated in a horrible mental health situation, causing many many frustrating delays, which in turn created even more stress, both financially and workload-wise.
That said I'd like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone, but especially my commissioners, who have been endlessly patient with me during these times. <3
I started last year with exciting future plans ahead, a lot which will sadly have to be rewritten. I'm not sure what 2025 will bring, but I am sure I'm going to try my hardest to make the best out of it.
Thank you again for all you patience, kind words and sweet comments, I appreciate them endlessly <3
