Buildup... Buildup... Buildup... Dramatic Reveal!
I recently got a computer a month back, and as of today, I'm trying to set everything up so I have all the basic amenities.
I'm kind of a Half-empty glass kind of guy and don't have any expectations positive or negative of this new set of 365 days.
Happy couples be they straight or gay only deal with problems when they arise but are stronger for it when they get through em' working with each other. But I'm fine with the life of a bachelor.
With the way I am going with my current job, I'm likely to get another raise. So there's that. Gotta keep up the pace and if I get another job along the way, or produce a new talent, that's okay as well. Or heck, I might come back here or to Deviantart with renewed vigor for my art. Who knows. I'll keep on fighting.

I adopted this model of purchasing after last year January when I had to part ways with my defunct 2011 equinox car and had to make an on-the-spot purchase of a 2019 car. I kind of had a pretty severe (but private) meltdown for the rest of that month onwards.
