Looks like he's been banned by the admins already. Apparently he's pulled this scam on a ton of other artists as well.

If you look at his username, it has the "-" prefix, rather than the usual "~" that normal users have. That indicates that the account is in banned status. I don't know the specifics, but apparently something in the FA code makes it impossible to just remove an account, so banned or suspended accounts get the "-" or "!" prefix, respectively.

ive only ever seen the ! for banned users tbh so i thought he wasnt banned. i learnt something today

"-" is banned, "!" is for suspended accounts. I'm not entirely certain what the differences are, but I think bans are permanent and suspensions are technically temporary. It seems like a lot of suspensions are indefinite though, so it gets confusing.

Thankfully his account is in the banned status. Given by the admins. If you look next to his username on the page it says (Banned) and a indicator with the (-) before his name. Which means he will not be able to access his account.

But it has not been deleted. Which is possibly what you're thinking about. When you get banned its often left up if you are a scammer to not allow you to get the name again and leave it up so people can know about the persons action.

But anyway Im really sorry you and so many other artists have to suffer over this giant piece of crap. I hope you'll be ok.

There are plenty of artist who have been scammed. But yea I totally get it. It’s a damn shame and worst for the artists. PayPal isn’t very nice to artists and art related things x.x

Hope it's not too late, but I once got into a dispute in paypal with an artist that just up and disappeared. I got asked "is the product a personalized item?" and foolish of me I said "yes", to which paypal said that personalized items are not covered by customer protection, didn't matter if it had been delivered or not.

So, in the dispute, mention that the product that he paid for is a personalized item. That may be of help.

I know I'm late to this but i have heard he had no intentions of harming artists it was just a bad use of money!
