Found out last weekend one of my dearest friends since childhood died very suddenly and unexpectedly. I can't lie it's really done my head in a bit. We hung out and met his wife only a few months ago. He was one of the unambiguously best human beings I've ever known and the world is much, much poorer without him.

Money issues still really bad. Took out a PayPal loan for Dec/Jan rent but between that and the other bills/loans, the money's gone and now I get to pay it off ^^; last payment to the IRS bounced and I have to call about that.

there's so much I want and need to do and it feels like life's just open-ass dumping on us over here at the moment...
