wow! i didn't think furaffinity would ever end up implementing tag blocking. even more, they're enforcing tagging your stuff as well.
This is a feature i like from sheezyart, and generally, its a good feature even if some people bitch and moan about it, it just makes the site an easier place to navigate for a little extra typing.
however, i think its too little and a bit too late. the fact we can only block tags when there's a big fat CATEGORY FOR FETISHES already a part of the site... and you can't even filter that or automatically add a tag for that.
I know most of us probably want to filter out fetishes more than anything else, so already having a feature that puts art into various fetish categories and NOT having any capability of auto tagging or filtering that... is kind of insane to me tbh. you already have that and people already use it, why not?
i guess the lot of us who post and leave will have to go back through their galleries again. would be nice to have some tag canonizations, tag wranglers, and maybe a list of commonly used tags to make it less of a hassle to tag our artwork. sheezyart's system is really nice, but people still think they're in trouble if they miss a tag or something and a mod cleans it up. i dunno.
i swear if people start calling it too much effort or censorship im gonna bust someones ass
