I myself love all the different types of TF, character, inanimate, animal, etc etc. I know i love bad ends that are unwilling.
One of the reasons i love that 3ds tf is how cruel it is with the full identity death, and full inanimate and being treated and sold like any other normal item

I like the male-to-male human TFs and humanoid TFs (all of which fictional characters, not real humans). :)

I generally like the ones with mind/mental changes.

On this site I find that my M to dog/wolf TFs (anthro or otherwise) are consistently well-received. I think that the “basic” furry fandom animals (dog/wolf/fox/horse/donkey/bull/dragon/etc) are usually what the silent majority (and probably the loud majority) on this site are looking for. Beyond that, pokemon, other moderately large animals, and any animal-flavored characters.

On the inanimate TF front, there’s a rather large fandom here for cock TF (often with upside-down TF). Other things that do well are sex toys, condoms, plushes, gargoyles/golems/petrification, and pool toys.

I like all that “basic” stuff, but personally I really like plain ‘ol inanimate TF in any form. Turn a dude into a toaster or whatever and it’ll still land with me. I loved your 3ds TF and the mannequin one.

Makes sense, the mannequin tf took off like a shot compared to all my other old stories (which I will admit surprised me a little bit)

I did expect animal-based tfs to be more popular but it's nice to hear that people are willing to sort of leave the 'basic' niche

Predictably, the stuff that's most popular here tends to be animal/anthro tf, along with several pokemon stuff and some inanimate topics. But in general I think there's a steady audience for whatever you want to post (some larger than others, sure). Character/human tf might be comparatively "niche" on here but it still can generate some good traction from what I've experienced! So, all that to say... do what you like hehehe

Personally, I'd love to see some more character tf stuff from you, the way you write them, especially when the tfee is unaware, is pretty fun!

I think writing what you want, you'll find people who like your interests and works and everything however it might shake out! I know personally I really enjoy Character and Anthro/Feral Animal TFs, and some good inanimate or animate inanimate TFs too, and that the audience on furaffinity typically leans more on the furry side, but I think you'll find people who'll like what you have to offer either way! ^^
