2025 Update - January

Hello guys! I have left my FurAffinity account unattended for a long time so it was already due for me to post something for the users who are not active on other platforms.
The last year and a half were quite eventful. Some slight health problems, a lot of progress in academic stuff and a LOT to handle with work, specially these last 6 months, where i wanted to resign because the supervisors and chairmen at the small company i work in were doing a very bad job at task management and working within their own organization chart, so i took it to myself to make a slightly lengthy memo noting each of the noticeable issues that were causing losses for them and proposed new terms for their own organization. Trying to involve myself more despite working part time was a challenge and it might have not been worth it. I was told off, in a very polite way, yet still they realized what i wanted to do and offered some alternatives. None felt good enough even though they offered a raise. I'm still working with them, holding on for a few more months and knowing they've been relying on me for client relations among other things ever since. I still want to resign because i constantly have to discuss responsibilities to avoid being overworked, and with such a low drive to work on their own organiation i see no future in there. I want to work at a place where i can not just put my technical skills to use, but also my administrative skills which i want to develop more. Maybe i should open my own business as soon as i graduate. 2026 shouldn't come too slow.
As per more personal stuff, i've been struggling with keeping up a good schedule, but i'm working on it. Having a variable amount of free time when i'm in school season makes it more difficult. But it's going. I plan to travel more, which i expect will help me relax, as well as trying to pick up a workout routine which i know will help with my anxiety. What i'm trying to get time for is to learn new stuff (improve my art, some industry software i've been wanting to learn, maybe learn Korean, and also a new instrument, which is very ambitious for just one year of plans). But i have to keep my head up and do what i want. "Day one, not one day" is a super cheesy saying which i love for these situations, and it definitely moves me if not just a little bit.
Hope you guys have a great year.
