||🅿️|| Poverizer is now on Patreon
Hello everyone! It has happened.
patreon.com/Poverizer
This announcement might come as a shock to some of you, I've come to the conclusion that Patreon exclusive upload patterns will be my current business model.
With my unemployment persisting, and my country further collapsing, alternative and constant income sources are NECESSARY For me to keep me and my mother under a roof, with a chance that even next to this I will have to apply for something either part-time or unrestricted.
Therefore...
Teasers will be uploaded to my sites with the 🅿️ logo in the title, and strategic censorship to announce Patreon uploads. These posts will self destruct once the originals unlock after a month.
The tiers on Patreon as follow:
€5
General Behind the scenes stuff.
Home-brewed mechanisms for shaders, simulators, etc.
Experiments, practices, studies, work-in-progress stuff that I'd usually not post about.
€15
The GOOD stuff.
Early Access, roughly a month, to every piece of 3D media I make (after today). This includes commissions, and personal content. AND animations.
Exclusive versions, views, and alternatives to said pieces, since multi-version or multi-page content might only be uploaded 1-2 versions each.
Polls for characters, YCH's, poses, or even future projects COULD pop up, depending on how things are looking.
Discord server access! Yeah, I'm doing this shit.
€20
Here you'll have access to models I've made in Blender. These will be cherry picked and/or made for this role.
Porting to SFM is still a workflow that is in-progress, but I plan to do so in the future as well.
There you have it. The Poverizer Business Model. This is the closest thing I've done to becoming a sellout, but at least I don't outright leave the fandom to work for a greedy ass company which requires me to purge my past work and rebrand myself as someone who is not associated with this passion. I see you.
ASIDE From all of this, I'll still be doing 3D render commissions, will expand the list to covering Turnables, environment work, and even short/tiny/"procedural" animations. A huge rework is in order to my commission system as well, which will come with time.
Not to mention, character model commissions, INCLUDING VRC, will also be on the table. I have a queue atm consisting of friends, but it will go public after I grinded that down.
Lastly, on a personal note, I'm somewhat ashamed to do this, and I'm infinitely thankful to the people who support me already, or plan to in the future - this was NOT something I planned. I planned to stick to my previous workplace, and pretty much rot with no work experience as I try to train myself to becoming a gamedev in my freetime while juggling commissions and stuff. Having lost my job and sitting at home with my mother, both unemployed, things have changed. The circumstances at which we worked at the office were extraordinary, and therefore the salary itself was roughly TWICE the average one would get for this position. However, this position provides no experience what so ever, therefore the places you can apply after losing it, are essentially the same, but for half the pay. I hope to find a part time place or something similar while I can also keep up this business model. The income from Patreon, as well as commissions, might be enough to sustain us entirely, and the extra job would be the safety net in case my P-site goes down or something comes up.
Be good everyone.

After the release of this journal, ALL 3D work that I make will be time-locked on Patreon, as well as version-locked.

Current supporters will only be charged with the updated price 31 days after this announcement, but I have a large backlog of uploads that I'll flood on my page soon, so I recommend sticking around...

Good call with the discord server too. It'll keep the size manageable :P
