Not connecting was basically the entire reason I did a poll for a change up recently or really being interested in my own design. When I first made the sona it was very spur of the moment in design and something I just sort of hammered out without too much thought.

I found the only time I was really interested was when they were transformed in some way, so I just wanted something that was a bit different and even goofy at its base.

Anyway that's not really the exact same situation, since you seem to be connecting well on some days, so its hard to say without knowing exactly how you feel. Maybe It could be worth experimenting a bit? while many people stick to a single core sona, there's no rules on how many you can have, how you use them, or switching back and forth, or just having small variations.

Then again I've only been on here about a year, so I don't exactly have the most experience here either.

That's very natural! Some days I feel more connected to my Mew OC, some days I feel more connected to Sally the Umbreon.
