Sherwood Story develops in all directions at once. For the reason that I am a sole author, I simply cannot afford to create chapters in a normal order. It's really difficult, although the basic backbone of the script has long been ready and exists in my personal notes and storyboards.
Sherwood Story is based on the 1973 animation and on the classic Robin Hood ballads. Due to the fact that many of the main characters have always been collected images, you can always interact with them and change their fate. Thanks to the poorly written love arc in the original cartoon, I can have the girl for myself and marry Marian, as the “We played as kids, marry me” scheme doesn't work in the laws of the real world. No, of course, reality has everything. But we're talking about high feelings, aren't we?! (XD)There will be no more naive and silly promises - only realistic love that is built on trust, understanding, communication and respect.
This is the first ever full-fledged deconstruction of Disney's Robin Hood, with the author himself influencing events and exploring this fascinating world. I don't accept any other way of interacting with the characters and I don't intend to use any masks. I have to be there and I have to be with her.
