$20 HEADSHOT sketches! give direction or artist choice!
Order: http://fydbac.com/sketchform
Delivery: see 'quick help'
[EDIT: So sorry for the title not being clear the $20 is for headshots!]
I know, these prices are way too low. So please, take advantage.
Pre-2018, my pace got me 4,500 commissions within 10 years (yes, that was my actual pace pre-2018).
I'm looking to do a healthier version of that.
Only the first 3 will be $20! After that, $25 :)

I used to be busy, with lots of anthro clients. I've been missing them lately, as it feels I RARELY have anthro clients now.
You say you're doing 20 buck sketches. Okay, perfect. But then you send me to a page that asks me to work my way through THIRTY TWO different options. And it's not clear to me what, if any, relate to the offer you're making now. Do I pick a head shot sketch as it's 20 bucks? Or an iron sketch?
I've said this before in answer to your other journals. Your commission process is horrendously overcomplicated and really offputting. I have no idea what to pick.
15 years of taking commissions full time, have lead to my current setup as being the most efficient for both me and the clients. I know, most of the time, I'm the first time anyone has seen my set up, especially the store. First time of anything, gives the sense of "overcomplicated", "overwhelming", etc. ALL clients who have spoken up after their first order, have said they found it really was simple after-all, as they thought it complicated beforehand but decided to give me a chance.
I tried looking up your username in my records to check, but I don't recall you ordering before, correct? I definitely recognize your name from commenting sometimes (which i really appreciate), but so sorry if you have ordered before and I've overlooked it.
If you really haven't ordered before: I hope you decide to give me a shot anyway someday :)
32 options in the form? There should only be about 5 to start. It shows as 32? Please let me know.
I had hoped the icon next to the options would show what the service is + plus the short summary of each service immediately following that,( I just now added a link to their galleries tho, as before I didn't think i could for some reason XD)
Also thought the price next to the types would help as well.
There is also the sketch store: which I keep for folks to use discount codes, and possibly folks like yourself who may be overwhelmed by the form. And vice versa.
And also why I title each post as their respective service title, and link to their ordering or their gallery, (usually their ordering page, but may switch to gallery, not sure yet). Direct link to ordering or to a bigger gallery (which links to ordering) would be better you think?
"horrendously overcomplicated", is incredibly frustrating and disheartening to hear. I appreciate your honesty, as I rather know the possible perspectives. I learned long ago I can't please everyone.
If you make a profile on fydbac.com, I can give you some loyalty credit you can use towards an order if interested! Just be sure to mention your username in your profile, and I'll add as soon as I see it!
Managed to grab a headshot with Vague Direction though.
I'll have to try grab some more commissions from you as I've watched your art for quite a while. I've got quite a few characters I've always thought would look great in your style. (A lot of art isn't uploaded on my gallery since I've got a dauntingly large backlog on my hard drive to upload.)
Multiple links is cumbersome. It far more efficient for my with one link, no matter if a single image, or a gallery.
I actually prefer one reference sheet than a gallery or one image. But weirdly, still, most people don't get reference sheet. (I have tailorLITE to hopefully convince folks to get one made) .And I suspect I'd be dead in the water if I said "reference sheet only".
Thank you again, looking forward to it!
OH, and in those 15 yrs, I did , and still do, use single forms for single art services. I tried it with I think iron sketch and 1 hr sketch last year for some months, but it was a bust. How the sketch form consolidated a few of my services now, has shown more orders in the last few months, than all the time where it was one dedicated form per service.
Sorry if that was oversharing, but thought it best to hopefully get understanding. Sorry it doesn't work for you. Hopefully you'll give it a shot someday.
Just in case this was what you were referring to in any way: I was just made aware the title of the journal wasn't even clear on what was $20. I'm so sorry for my oversight!
Please let me know, I would like to support you even if its the $25 or more option now :3
Yeah, I'll keep the headshots up, as I do enjoy exploring emotion with folks characters, and it seems to be a nice alternative if my iron pages is out of a persons budget, and I desperately need income. Thank you fro the interest!
I tried to make an order last night (crashed to bed, so sorry), and wasnt sure which option I should select for this. Has it been added, or should I select something else and message you here about it? Apologies for any stress, I just wanted to make sure I ordered everything correctly before accidently giving you trouble.
I was also curious to know how we get the character reference to you. Is it part of the process in ordering, or do you get that from us via email, contact us here...?
EDIT: Actually, if I may ask; are your colored 1hr sketches still open? I think I'd rather get one of those if possible (but I'l happily take the headshot sketches if that's all you have at the moment).
No apology at all! This art is just a fun luxury :)
YUP, 1 hr sketch is open: basically, if you don't see it "sold out" in the STORE, or simply not an option in the FORM, that means it's accepting orders :) Thank you again for your interest!
