Deleting my Twitter accounts soonish

So I am going to be deleting both my Twitter accounts within the next week. I'm making note of artists I like and seeing where they are also available.
Twitter is no longer a safe place and has become nothing but an echo chamber for the intolerant.

There's no need to exaggerate. X seems way more tolerant and safe now than it has been in a long time, especially now that the site has done away with the mass censorship and put everyone on a level playing field. I honestly have no idea why people are freaking out about the site so much.

I can't got half a scroll without seeing some Trump BS crap, it is worse than you think. Plus Elon keeps making very disturbing remarks.

If you're seeing things you don't like you can just block or mute it, and who really cares what Elon says or does? It shouldn't affect the way you use the site at all.

I block one Trump/Elon propganda tweet, then another one will pop up, so on and so forth in ad nauseam, because the platform promotes that shit.

I haven't once seen anything like that while browsing the site, so perhaps it's from people who you follow, or promoted due to browsing news content etc.
