Nuclaer weapons need to be abolished jor once and for all.

And nuclear energy is a dangerous boondoggle. We have safer and less expensive truly green alternatives.

We definitely need to be focusing away from fossil fuels, for sure.

I've been reading about this new nuclear plant design that uses molten sodium. Theoretically it is a safer design for nuclear power and I'm curious to see how well it works.

Those aren't that new, but definitely exciting.

I hope to see more parking lots with solar panel car ports. Shade for the cars and electricity for the business.

Like the whole climate change thing, there ain't no solution to that problem that doesn't involve killing millions if not billions by reversing the industrial revolution.
Increases in the average standard of living consume additional resources, and resources are always scarce. The only non... regressive? malthusian? luddite? dystopian? solution is to put humanity beyond this planet's gravity well, and even that doesn't solve the "problem" but merely sidesteps it for a very small population who expose themselves to enormously greater perils in their flight.

Everything else? As above so below, governmental failures being repeated ad infinitum. Gee whiz, maybe the problem is government itself.

I've found it a useful barometer.
