You shouldn't just deny a relationship based on that, your lucky you are in the same country, my partner is from a completely different country, still making it work.

If you feel you both want it just as much, you can always try it out... but remain cautious about it and if it wasn't to work out you can still be good friends that way.

It is totally doable for you two, but both have to make the effort and always speak truth when your together.

Give it some time, always treat them like your best friend, nothing more or less and you will be okay.

As someone who has been dating for 4 years, from across the other side of the planet, I'm in AUS and he USA, You can make it work.

My best advice is communication. Being able to be open and honest and forthright aboit your feelings, issues, etc goes a long way. Regular voice/video calls help a lot too <3

It can work, it's not easy, it takes some concessions on both ends, but you can do it. If there's something there, you shouldn't deny yourself a chance at this kind of happiness.
