Hello. My Name is Joshua Bass. Let me tell you my story, of how my life went from great, to financial Hell.
It all began in May 2021. I woke up, ready for another great day, to find my mother crying more than I'd ever seen her before, and when I went to see what was wrong, it felt like a kangaroo kicked me in the gut. During the night, my father left us for another woman, someone he had been secretly having an affair with for years. We couldn't go after him for anything due to how the marriage wasn't certified, which in retrospect was a bad decision. From there things went downhill. First off, there was a loan that I actually didn't know about until months ago from Lendmark that we have had since I was very young, and now that was fully on my Moms income to take care of despite it's high interest rate. Then our house started falling apart, things all over breaking left and right, with no budget to fix it. Then some neighbors pulled a nasty prank on us and stole our Food Stamps renewal form, ruining our financial support since then. Then our car started breaking, with us between then and now having to spend 8k just to keep it running, but it has finally become broken beyond reasonable repair, so we have no car. Which is why me and my Mom are asking for help. A lot of help.
Our debts have become too much to bare. We have tried everything we can to have the money we need in order to get back afloat after my father left, but we cannot handle this anymore. Even with me and my mom working as many hours as we can, we can't even do a dent to our debts, especually now that we have to pay for Uber or Rideshare to get to our jobs. Which is why I need to ask everyone here for help. Please, if you can, donate so we can get our life back together. We are going to need a lot of money for this, so every bit helps, no matter how small.
For transparency's sake, I have listed below how the money would be utilized.
Lendmark Loan: 4.7k
Car Replacement: 10k
House Repairs: 12.5k
Miscellaneous help: 7k
Savings buffer: 3k
Of course the last bit of this is for savings, though for all we know something else could come up and we'd need that money anyway, so that, plus any extra if we somehow get that far, will be used as a buffer for us to ensure we don't get into any more financial trouble anytime soon.
I have done my best in life to be a shining ray of happiness to others, and have even helped those in need because I have felt the same way to them. I pray that some of that kindness can be returned to me.

Please be careful, and I hope you can both make it through this. I cannot help, since I'm going through university and don't have money to spare...
As for dealing with the loan, when i was younger and my mom was getting things sorted out from the divorce with my dad, she declared bankruptcy.
I am no financial expert but i do recall it dealt with all the debt and gave her a chance to slowly rebuild financially and raise me and my siblings with much less stress.
I know it sounds bad but look into it.
I hope all comes through for you soon and you don't gotta take my advise. It's much better when the world pitches in together.
But yea, life's been rough for the past 3.5 years and I've done my best to keep up a smile for everyone around me and focus on supporting them and helping them, but overtime that smile had faded as the stress kept building up X_X
