Why Commissions Are Taking Longer – A Personal Update

Hi everyone!
I wanted to take a moment to explain my absence and update both my followers and clients who are waiting for their commissions.
For a while, I didn’t have enough commissions to cover my bills. I do have a main job, but unfortunately, the salary isn’t enough to support me. I’ve been relying on commissions to get by, and I’m truly grateful to everyone who has commissioned me. Because of this, I had no choice but to take on a second job.
Right now, I’m working two jobs, and I barely have any free time or days off. Most days, I work around 12 hours, which allows me to pay my bills, but it’s incredibly exhausting—both physically and mentally. On top of that, while my second job seemed okay at first, it quickly turned out to be a toxic environment. The people I work with, including my boss, are unpleasant, and I’m dealing with constant bullying—both to my face and behind my back. It’s been really tough, but for now, I have to endure it for the sake of financial stability.
The good news is that I will be leaving this second job at the end of winter or early spring! I might have to take on more shifts at my main job, but at least I’ll finally have days off. When I quit, I plan to give myself a short break to recover and then focus more actively on finishing my pending commissions. I also hope to get new commissions to help me stay afloat.
At the moment, I’m working on my commission backlog in the evenings, but after such long work hours, I don’t have much time or energy, so progress has been slow. Still, I’m doing my best! I also hope to set aside some time to create something for Valentine’s Day.
So, in about a month, I’ll be back to drawing more actively. I’m open for new commissions and still slowly working on past ones.
Thank you all for your patience and support! It truly means a lot. 💙
