Well, we all know what that movie should be right? IT'S AVATAR. Reasons for this being the movie of the year is as follows:1. It had an AMAZING storyline, musical score, and tons of suspense and awesome scenery. I caught goosebumps at least seven times during the movie. I was on the edge of my seat for some parts, but WOW, I am totally amazed. Sure it was three hours, but it was SOO worth it.
2. It really makes you feel as if you're in the adventure yourself. Not to mention, once you get into the movie, you're hooked.
3. The scenery and the DETAIL of the scenery. I mean wow, Cameron really outdid hisself with this movie. It's so beautiful, amazing, magnificent, and way too awesome. No other move has perfected detailing to any land feature as of right now in this time and age.
4. The soundtrack is amazing and totally relaxing. Especially the theme song for the movie sung by Leona Lewis. My god, I fell in love with the sounds, orchestration, and the array of sounds and vocals that were used to make this all work out.I suggest you go watch it.
....and I stubbornly persist that the movie of the year is District 9.
