Tokyo Skytree?

Take the JR Line over to Yoyogi [ JY18 ], and visit the Meiji Jingu shrine area. It’s a beautiful area to just walk around in, and close to Shinjuku.

Can also go up to Asakusa and check out the temple there, and it’s like a 15 minute walk over to Tokyo Sky Tree.

Take the Ginza line from Skytree back to Ueno, and have the best ramen on earth at Rokurinsha just outside the north entrance.

I've no idea if Japanese swords are of interest to you (they definitely are to me!)

If they are, I would hit this place up. For a cheap 1,000 Yen entry fee, the display is amazing!

Start your day with some fluffy soufflé pancakes. Plenty of places in Tokyo make them, and they're heavenly. I can vouch for Benitsuru in Asakusa.
