What does AB/DL mean to you?

AB/DL means something different to everyone. For some, it's raunchy kinky fun time. For others, it's about love, comfort, security. For others, it's both, or even something else entirely!
For me, AB/DL is a way to:
-Feel comforted and safe in a world that usually makes me feel anything but
-Enjoy a gender-affirming form of chastity through diapers because I can't wear cages and belts make me dysphoric
-Make sexuality and kink into something light-hearted, fun, and playful
-Help me process sexual trauma and general PTSD in a safe and gentle environment
-Help me correct a negative connection between my adult sexuality and my lost childhood that was caused by abuse
-Let me make up for that lost childhood by letting me engage in play and other activities because I was forced to grow up too fast
In short, for me, AB/DL is a healing experience, and one that helped bridge a big gap between my trauma and my sexuality in a way 10+ years of therapy has so far failed to do. I'm less disgusted with myself for what happened to me, and now I'm able to relive parts of childhood I missed out on through this kind of regression and roleplay.
