I kinda want to use this spot for some low-key public journaling. Twitter is cooked, and Bluesky is certainly better but doesn't have locked accounts. I folded and logged on and sent my first tweet on Twitter in months, to my locked vent for yelling into the void. For the lighter less serious stuff, I feel like I could learn to like FA.
It's been a pretty fun weekend - had an absolute fizzle of a snowstorm come through and drop 4-5 inches of fluff, which was really pretty to walk through while mildly buzzed after a party. Stopped by the bar where my friend works to see em on my way back home, which was a nice stopover. Didn't end up doing anything for the Super Bowl, but I wandered around Boston Chinatown's Lunar New Year lion dance celebration Sunday afternoon with another friend.
Not looking forward to dragging myself into work Monday morning. Job hunting in biopharma looks like it's going to suck REAL hard with the dumbass moves this administration is making towards research funding, but I want out of this place real, real soon.

Hope the future job search isn’t the absolute worst when it’s time. Seems like everyone’s in survival mode these days.
